There is an unfortunate bit of news to talk about today. I'm of course, talking about the Droz accident at the Smackdown tapings yesterday from Long Island. Darren "Droz" Drozdov was seriously injured in a match with D'Lo Brown. Apparently, while D'Lo was attempting his sit down powerbomb, the move went wrong and Droz landed hard on his head and neck. The match was stopped as many officials and EMTs made their way to the ring and after 20-40 minutes, took Droz off on a stretcher while Prince Albert was overcome with emotion and started crying. According to WrestleLine, Droz has suffered a fractured neck and is is currently in very serious condtion. He is staying at the Nassau County Medical Center. The media has also been covering this tragic story and I've even heard on some news stations that Droz is fighting for his life. He apparently lost all feeling below his neck last night, but now thankfully has regained some feeling. Our prayers are also with Drozdov and his family and friends. Hopefully he will recover from this unfortunate accident and another tragedy will be avoided in the wrestling world.
